why do people use paypal
Nov 30th
why must every person under the sun who has an ebay auction use paypal. i set up a paypal account a long time ago and i forgot my password and i might as well have shot myself in the foot. i go back to check my records to see if i have the password, but paypal never sent me an e-mail with all that information. i tried typing all the passwords i could think of, but i didn’t get it in 3 tries so i can’t log into my account and have to send a bunch of mess to paypal to reactivate my account. just seems like a big pain to me. okay, i’m done venting. other than this mess with paypal today has been a very good day. got my management paper and presentation done, so the only big assignment i have left is a book review for drama. as for now, i’m gonna go try to find out what i want for christmas. later…matt
christmas tree cake thoughts
Nov 28th

little debbie christmas tree cakes have to be the best things in the world when it comes to christmas. i could devour a whole box in a sitting if i wasn’t careful. just thought i would share my excitement about them.
my thanksgiving break was great. it was too short, but that’s the norm. the only difference this time is that i have 7 days of classes and 3 days of exams left in my college career!
i headed home last tuesday to hang out with my family and magan for thanksgiving. i visited both of my grandparents houses for some great fun and food. on thursday afternoon magan and i went to k-town to celebrate thanksgiving with her family. i did a lot of eating while i was there too. i basically had 4 thanksgiving meals within 3 days and i got to spend lots of time with my magan!
on saturday evening i headed back to chowan, but along the way made a stop in greensboro to see mercy me and steven curtis chapman in concert. steve ivey got us from free tickets and backstage passes and me, dave, merrie, and the boys got to go meet all of them. we interviewed steven curtis chapman for a video to use this summer at camp. they were all really cool guys. by the time i made it back to chowan it was 2am.
sunday i was able to get my final management paper written and i got some other various things done. i was really tired so i headed off to bed and got some good sleep. that’s leave me here today. done with classes for the day and just doing more work. later…matt
short week
Nov 21st

short weeks are good and bad at the same time. they are good for the simple fact that they are short. they are bad for the fact that i didn’t want to bother with school this week. after a 4 hour ride back to school today followed by at 2 1/2 hour this coming tuesday, i just didn’t want to come back. i guess i’m just that ready for thanksgiving. i can’t wait to get some home-cooked food. i had a little home-cooked food today at carsie’s house and it was great. this weekend was a lot of fun. God did a lot of awesome things in everyone’s lives and it was awesome as always to see Him bring everything together even though we don’t have a clue what’s going on. i got to hang out with the p-dubs and my magan, which is always fun.
i’ll be here at school tomorrow and half of the day tuesday. after that i’ll be headed home for thanksgiving. i’ll be home for a few days, travel to k-town to spend some time with magan’s family, and then back to school saturday night. i’m sure i’ll post something this week. later…matt
caswell bound
Nov 18th

welp, it’s about that time. time to head down to caswell for the weekend. we have the 2nd fall retreat this weekend and it is sold out. 1,000 kids, the chris orr band, ol’ afshin, and the pwt will be there. it should be a fun weekend of hanging out and worshipping. of course you can’t beat the fact that we will be at the beach! even though the temperature has dropped through the floor, it will still be fun. the only thing between me and caswell right now is a management test (and of course a 4 hour drive). so i’m gonna go grab some lunch and take that test. i’ll probably post something while i’m down at caswell. maybe i’ll get some pictures up to. catch ya’ll on the l-t….matt
its a good day
Nov 15th
hay hay everybody. its been about a week since i’ve posted anything, but not too much has changed. this past weekend i went home for about 24 hours to help out with an evangelism conference. i got to hang out with some of the pwt and my magan which is always a fun time. my school work has picked back up a little bit. the past two weeks have been pretty slack and it has been hard getting back into the swing of things. senioritis is killing me, but i know i can make it. 13 class days left! 2 papers and a presentation are the biggest assignments i have left. this weekend i’ll be headed down to caswell for the 2nd fall retreat. i’m sure we’ll be flying by the seat of our pants, but that’s the way it always is. fun times with the pwt. take it easy…matt
