good times
Jan 25th

hay hay everybody. its time for me to update this blog. magan is two days ahead of me in updating her blog and i can’t be slacking like that so i thought i would post some stuff. this week is going great. i’ve just been working for the past two days. i’m working on several different jobs right now including the website for my home church and the youth connect 2006 poster. my family is doing good. my dad is in germany this week. he said its cold as all get out and he is craving a mello yello with some ice. germany doesn’t do the ice thing so you gotta feel for him. he had dinner tonight with the president of his company. the president speaks no english, so they sat there at dinner for 4 hours as someone translated back and forth for them. i would have gotten too A.D.D. for that real quick.
i also just wanted to put a quick note in here for my magan real quick. its my blog and i can put up want to and if you want to say “awwwwwwwww” go right ahead, but today is me and magan’s 6 month anniversary and i just wanted to say “i love you bud. you’re the best!”
the pictures are from this past weekend when me and the girls went and hung out with magan. it was a great time and i can’t wait till i get to travel up to asu again.
I'M A PODCASTER!
Jan 19th

yep, that’s right, i am now podcasting. i know you’re thinking, “what a dork?!” but what can i say, i’m matt keith. i love learning new stuff and podcasting has fascinated me for awhile. i remember when itunes version 4.9 came out this past summer and i got totally hyped about it. if you were on the pwt and heard me talk about it, you probably just shook your head and listened to me babble. as soon as podcasting came out i thought to myself, “self, this podcasting thing could come in very handy for churches wanting to publish sermons online.” sure enough i started searching and found that one of my favorite churches, PC3 had a podcast. well since i have been back at home i have been helping my church redesign their website as one of my freelance jobs. i knew from the start that i wanted to have a podcast for the church and i’m glad to say that now we do. if you want to be one of the first subscribers, just click here and you can subscribe to the podcast. you don’t have to have an iPod to get into podcasting, just subscribe to different podcasts and you can listen to them on your computer *note: you will have to download itunes if you don’t already have it. those of you who don’t have itunes need to get rid of whatever your using and switch over to itunes. itunes controls 83% of the online media sales, nuff said but i have to add that apple sold 14 MILLION iPods during the last quarter of 2005, now nuff said*
as far as everything else goes, its going great. i’m still working on several jobs. i am so thankful that everything has worked out as it has so far. i was a little worried when it all started because i didn’t know how well everything would go, but God has blessed me with some great people who care for me and want to help me in any way and i’m very thankful.
tomorrow me and my sisters will be headed up to appalachian to see magan. i’m really excited about it. my sisters finish exams tomorrow so me and magan thought it would be cool for us all to go up there and hang out for a few days. i get to go to my first campus crusade ever, go snowboarding, and hang out with some of my favorite people. check back later and maybe i’ll have some recent pictures up. later…matt
its only tuesday
Jan 11th

i tell you what, this week is going by incredibly slow. i feel like i have been working my tail off for days now and it is only tuesday. i have been doing a lot of work, but it has been fun and a learning experience. at this point last week i had hardly any work to do and really only had 2 official projects. God did some really awesome stuff between then and now because within 2 days i had recieved phone calls from several people and i now have 5 projects on my list and some others waiting. it was definitely not of my doing, but a God thing. i’m still feeling my way through this free lance stuff and things seem to be going good so far. i have one project that is almost complete. it is a website for a company called amazing video creations. the owner runs all the media at church and this is his own personal business. you can click the picture and go check out the site.
as for weekend plans. magan is coming down on friday to hang out for the long weekend. steph is in town from kentucky and i’m sure we’ll all hang out somtime. until the weekend, i’ll just be busy with work, waiting for the weekend. until next time, take it easy and enjoy whatever you do…matt
enjoyed the holidays, but now its back to work
Jan 4th

hay hay everybody, its been awhile since i’ve posted anything. i’ve been busy like everyone else with family stuff during the holidays. i spent a few days at magan’s with her family and then she came to my house to hang out with my family for a few days. both our families are crazy so it was never a dull moment between either household. i got several cool gifts for christmas including a new printer, some clothes, a gift certificate to sugar mountain, and a super cool movie that magan made for me. there was nothing out of the ordinary for new year’s. me, magan, and my family sat at the house, sipped some sparkling grape juice, and rang in the new year with dick clark’s rocking eve show.
now my christmas break is over and its back to work. this is the time where it is going to seem weird because everyone is going back to school and i will be staying here at home. i’m sure the shock will wear off shortly and everything will be fine. i am in the middle of several projects and i am in search of future jobs. so if you all will continue to plug my name that would be great. i hope that all you had a great holiday and be safe in your travels. later…matt
